My concentration is influenced by the impact of the Monterey Pop Festival of 1967. I want to portray the movement the artist at the pop festival caused. They were pushing the boundaries and showing the youth of the world a new type of sound. Each piece expresses the feelings the songs give me and the feelings they gave the time of the late 1960's.

Breadth #6
I have to go back and finish her face and color the background, but it's suppose to be a woman with a big hat on that covers her eyes.
I like this piece actually! I think the mixed media thing can really work for you. First i would shift the angle of the hat a little more horizontal with the page, then decide how youre going to balance the vibrancy of the hat with the womans face. Look back at Stormy's portraits, idk if you remember them, but you could really make it interesting if there way balance between your subject and the hat.
