My concentration is influenced by the impact of the Monterey Pop Festival of 1967. I want to portray the movement the artist at the pop festival caused. They were pushing the boundaries and showing the youth of the world a new type of sound. Each piece expresses the feelings the songs give me and the feelings they gave the time of the late 1960's.
Ok. I can see where you are going with this but you lost your enthusiasm in the process of creating this piece. It remains unfinished and as I mentioned for artwork #7, I recommend that you work back into it. Stay away from the representational in your artwork and continue to develop the concept of movement, rhythm, and energy in your work through color and mark-making. I look forward to seeing this piece after you have revisited it!
