My concentration is influenced by the impact of the Monterey Pop Festival of 1967. I want to portray the movement the artist at the pop festival caused. They were pushing the boundaries and showing the youth of the world a new type of sound. Each piece expresses the feelings the songs give me and the feelings they gave the time of the late 1960's.
Molly this is really strong give yourself some credit. The texture of the flowers complement and contrast with the texture and color of the background really really well. I'd love to hear you explain your decisions so i can understand it better.
Molly- I think this is an interesting start but it remains unfinished. You definitely need to continue developing the flowers and adding more darks and lights to draw into them and integrate them into the background more. I think you have some good ideas but need to spend more time on this!
