My concentration is influenced by the impact of the Monterey Pop Festival of 1967. I want to portray the movement the artist at the pop festival caused. They were pushing the boundaries and showing the youth of the world a new type of sound. Each piece expresses the feelings the songs give me and the feelings they gave the time of the late 1960's.
Good! This is much improved with your design. What is it that you want the viewer to perceive from this music and art? I would want to see another layer of mark-making on top perhaps to demonstrate the complex sound of Simon and Garfunkel. They are best known for their harmony- how would you relay that through your art?
